Agency: MCCGLC
Client: SPACEIN
As the physical world has begun to shift to online communities, the challenge was to create a digital environment that fostered natural collaboration, moving beyond the fatigue of endless video calls. The solution was SPACEIN, a 2D metaverse designed for professional use, not gimmicks. Its unique bubble-based layout provides an at-a-glance view of the entire community, showing who is talking to whom in real-time and making remote interaction feel more organic and intuitive.
Tasked with unifying product vision, technical strategy, and business growth, leading the platform's entire journey from concept to commercialisation. This began with steering the team to deliver an MVP to beta testers within six months, guided by a complex agile roadmap.
The platform's feature set, which included co-browsing and a content library, was continuously refined through a feedback loop incorporating data from user analytics, Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics, and direct user collaboration sessions. These insights were then translated into UX wireframes, providing clear direction for the design team to create a fluid and effective interface.
Alongside product leadership, the role demanded crucial architectural foresight. A key strategic decision was directing the platform's evolution from a monolithic backend built for speed to market to a scalable, microservice-driven architecture.
This migration was achieved using a strangulation approach, a critical move that enabled a full go-to-market release within 18 months without disrupting beta users. The entire front-end experience was built on Vue.js.
The result was a sophisticated, market-ready SaaS platform that provided a powerful solution to the challenges of remote collaboration, successfully guided from an idea to a scalable, commercial product.
